Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) – Assist is a modular industrial assistance solution that combines XR guidance, AI-powered vision, and hands-free voice interaction. It helps operators complete defined tasks through real-time visual instructions displayed directly in the workspace, while the vision module monitors people, obstacles, and safety-relevant activity around the robot. The voice module enables operators to confirm steps, trigger actions, and interact with the system without interrupting their work. Together, these modules create an intelligent assistance layer for guided assembly, operator training, inspection workflows, and safer human-robot collaboration.

Neurofai contributed to the ARISE 1st Open Call through HEROX by developing voice, vision and XR modules.
As part of the ARISE Open Call, Neurofai contributed to HEROX, an HRI-enabled industrial assembly demonstrator combining XR guidance, voice interaction, real-time perception, and reactive robot control. The solution supported operators during an automotive battery cable assembly task, using markerless XR overlays for step-by-step guidance, speech-based workflow control, and multi-camera 3D obstacle detection for safe collaboration with a KMR iiwa mobile manipulator. Built on ROS2/Vulcanexus, FIWARE Orion Context Broker, and reusable Dockerized modules, the demonstrator was validated in a semi-industrial laboratory environment and achieved TRL6.
Neurofai is a consortium partner in European Project VICTOR XR: New Extended Reality Experiences Bridging the Physical and Virtual Worlds
VictorXR aim to develop next-generation extended reality technologies for seamless interaction between virtual and physical worlds. The project focuses on Virtual–Physical Consistency through multimodal interaction, including haptics, vision, speech, gaze, and biosignals. Together with 16 partners across 7 countries, Neurofai contributes as a deep-tech SME to the development of immersive, safe, human-centric, and trustworthy XR systems, with validation planned in automotive manufacturing, collaborative robotics, and healthcare rehabilitation. The project is funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe programme (call HORIZON-CL4-2025-03-HUMAN-14).
